We are pleased to welcome you to our latest addition of parking facilities, the multistorey parking garage Makrillen. Makrillen was completed on April 17, 2025, and offers a convenient and modern parking option with a bonus: the Lidl grocery store on the ground floor. Adjacent to Bordalsmotet, the location of Makrillen makes it a perfect parking location for both visitors to Borås as well as locals living in the area.
The new multistorey parking garage has several floors with parking spaces above the Lidl store, an easy way to combine your daily errands with convenient parking. Whether you are going shopping or need a safe place to park, Makrillen is the perfect choice.
At our parking garage Makrillen, we offer a range of ticket options to meet the needs of as many customers as possible.
Digital parking subscription spots are available for those who want a guaranteed spot and the peace of mind that there will always be an available spot when they need to park. The subscription spots are unnumbered, and you choose an available spot from among the reserved spots when you park. You can sign up for a subscription spot by clicking the button below. This will take you to our app provider, Parkster, where you can purchase your subscription. The subscription has no minimum term but requires one month’s notice for cancellation.
For those who do not want to commit to a subscription, you can instead purchase fixed-period parking permit C, which gives you access to parking in the Makrillen, Petersberg, and Makrillen surface parking lots for a 30-day period. Period Ticket C is valid 24/7 and is subject to availability. You can easily purchase a fixed-period parking permit through one of our four app providers: Parkster, EasyPark, ePARK, or Mobill.
For visitors, we offer an hourly rate: 15 SEK/hour on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays and the day before a public holiday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. At other times, the rate is 5 SEK/hour. The maximum parking duration is 7 days.
