
Pay for Parking
When you park in our paid parking areas, you can pay via app, SMS, or, where parking meters are available, with a payment or fuel card.
Benefits of Mobile Payment
Paying for your parking via app or SMS offers several advantages. You avoid waiting in line at the parking meter and can easily extend your parking time anytime, anywhere. We offer multiple app providers, allowing you to choose the one that suits you best.
App Providers
Borås Kommuns Parkerings AB does not charge any additional fees for these services. We ensure that the app providers offer their apps at no extra cost to you. In our parking areas, you can choose to pay with one of these four apps:
Parkster
EasyPark
ePark
Mobill
For Parkster, ePark, and Mobill, the free option is automatically activated. If you choose to park with EasyPark, you need to actively select the "Borås Lokal" package in the app to avoid extra fees. See the instructions below on how to do this.
Instructions for activating "Borås Lokal" in the EasyPark App
Step 1: Open the EasyPark app.
Step 2: Tap the menu in the top right corner (three horizontal lines).
Step 3: Select "Prisplaner".
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says, "Om du har rätt till EasyPark Lokal i din stad, kan du byta till det här." Tap where it says "här".
Step 5: Tap "Välj", then choose "Borås" from the menu. Finally, tap "Spara".
Step 6: A confirmation message will appear stating that you have switched to EasyPark Lokal. Tap "OK".
Payment via SMS

EasyPark: Send AREA CODE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER PERSONALNUMBER to 010-333 44 00
ePark: Send AREA CODE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER PERSONALNUMBER to 0736-30 40 50
For example: 60606 ABC123 9999999999.
Mobill: Send AREA CODE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER STARTA to 0700-86 11 00
For example: 60606 ABC123 STARTA.
You will receive a confirmation SMS stating that your parking has started, along with instructions on how to end the parking session.
For long-term parking (over 24 hours) via SMS, you need to extend the parking daily or choose another payment method.
Pay with Card
In our parking meters, you can pay with a fuel card, Visa, or Mastercard.
