Pay for Parking

When you park in our paid parking areas, you can pay via app, SMS, or, where payment machine are available, with a payment or fuel card.

Benefits of Mobile Payment

Paying for your parking via app or SMS offers several advantages. You avoid waiting in line at the payment machine and can easily extend your parking time anytime, anywhere. We offer multiple app providers, allowing you to choose the one that suits you best.

App Providers

Borås Kommuns Parkerings AB does not charge any additional fees when paying for parking via an app. We have also required our app providers to offer an option without service fees. This means that, as a parker, you should always be able to pay only the parking fee—nothing else.:

Important to know

For Parkster, ePARK, and Mobill, no additional fees are charged in our parking areas if you have created an account.

If you choose to park with EasyPark, you must actively select the Borås Lokal/Basic package to avoid extra fees. If you have added Borås Lokal/Basic and then park in a location where it does not apply, you will need to add Borås Lokal/Basic again. See the instructions below for how to add Borås Lokal/Basic in the EasyPark app.

Instructions for activating "Borås Lokal/Basic" in the EasyPark App

Step 1: Open the EasyPark app.

Step 2: Tap the menu in the top right corner (three horizontal lines).

Step 3: Select "Abonnemang".

Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says, "EasyPark Basic" Tap where it says "Hantera Easypark Basic".

Step 5: You will now see a box "Select city" and a drop-down list will appear choose Borås in the list and tap on "Bekräfta".

Step 6: Under ¨Abonnemang¨ you will now see that EasyPark Basic is your current plan.

  • Mobill: Send AREA CODE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER STARTA to 0700-86 11 00

For example: 60606 ABC123 STARTA.

You will receive a confirmation SMS stating that your parking has started, along with instructions on how to end the parking session.

For long-term parking (over 24 hours) via SMS, you need to extend the parking daily or choose another payment method.
