“Of course, Boverket’s regulations regarding charging stations have played a role, but it is our collaboration that has been crucial for us to come this far, so quickly,” says Hanna Munde, CEO of Borås Parking AB.
At the end of 2023, the first charging stations were installed at the parking lots at Stadsparksbadet, Bodaskolan, and Milstensgården Preschool. Since then, the progress has been rapid. There are now over 200 charging stations around the city.
“It feels fantastic to be part of driving the transition. By building so many more charging stations, we have made it easier for those who have or want to get an electric car,” says Hanna Munde.
The city center is now almost fully charged. The next step will be to provide the outer areas, such as Sjömarken, Sandared, Dalsjöfors, and Kinnarumma, with the same power to charge in the future.
