P-hus Vulkanus
Vulkanus is one of our newest parking facilities. Vulkanus is strategically located with an entrance from Lidaholmsgatan and within walking distance to the city center offering a modern and convenient parking experience. It has a total of 303 parking spaces, 66 of which are equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles, making it easy to keep your vehicle fully charged while running errands or just enjoying what the city has to offer.
For cyclists, we offer 10 bike boxes, 5 of which are equipped with outlets for charging, ensuring that even electric bikes are ready for the next ride. Motorcycles and mopeds can park for free in designated spots, making Vulkanus the perfect choice for all types of vehicles.
For frequent parkers, we offer various 30-day fixed-period parking permits, subject to availability. Parking permit I is valid on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Parking permit J is valid 24 hours a day, every day, and Parking permit H is valid on weekdays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM, as well as 24 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays. You can easily purchase a period ticket through one of our four app providers: Parkster, EasyPark, ePARK, or Mobill.
For those seeking extra convenience, there is the option to sign up for a dedicated subscription spot with a spot number that guarantees parking 24/7 every day. Subscription spaces are also available for electric vehicles.
For visitors, we offer hourly rates: 20 SEK/hour on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, as well as on Saturdays and the day before a public holiday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. At other times, the rate is 6 SEK/hour.
In addition, our Vulkanus parking garage is equipped with solar panels on the roof and facade, which together generate up to 54,000 kWh of clean energy per year, making it an environmentally friendly option.
The name Vulkanus is inspired by the property designation Vulcanus, and its unique design, resembling a patchwork quilt, is a tribute to Borås' proud textile heritage. This makes Vulkanus more than just a parking garage – it is a symbol of the city’s history and future in harmony.
